As part of my Sports Journalism Dissertation on the economic, social and nationalistic impact of celebrity in sport, one of my capacity focused on McGregor's professional persona and his human relationship with Irish fans.
There's a lot of interesting things to look back on, with some of my favourites existence:

Looking back at that chapter of my dissertation, my conclusion was that McGregor had gone beyond the young hungry Irishman he one time was.
Now, afterwards losing to Dustin Poirier (27-half-dozen MMA, 19-five UFC) at UFC 257 in January of this year, McGregor (22-5 MMA, ten-3 UFC) is now at the most interesting point of his professional career.

On 28th May 2021, DMX'southward posthumous album Exodus was released. The rapper sadly died on 9th April at White Plains Hospital in New York, sparking a huge outpouring of emotion and respect from those in and out of the music world.
This is an unfiltered review of his album.
1: That's My Dog (featuring The Lox and Swizz Beatz)
Early claw sets the aggressive tone. Rags to riches tone from Judakiss, with Lox also calling out all the fake people from the hood, calls out the labels from trying to profit off blackness people from the hood. Breonna Taylor and George Floyd reference stands out for the motivation that the black community has to proceed going.
Heavy loyalty theme. Hard to put myself in the state of affairs but you can feel the realness from 10's very ambitious delivery.
2: Bath Salts (featuring Jay-Z & Nas)
Jay-Z comes in flexing, as you'd expect from someone every bit successful equally he is. Nas talking about struggling between existence stuck between angel and devil. Christian references and clever food lines. Ten is the master of angry rap, his content might turn some people off but there is no incertitude he is a great rapper.
3: Dogs Out (featuring Lil Wayne & Swizz Beats)
I genuinely forgot Lil Wayne yet existed and I remember why I oasis't listened to him since 2010. X has a decent verse but the claw is weak and the worst so far.
4: Money, Coin, Coin (featuring Moneybag Yo)
Production hits yous straight away. About feel like you lot're in X and Moneybag Yo's dreams with the heavy $ theme. Turns aggressive talking about snitches, b****** and dogs getting hungry. Explosion at the end matches the intensity of the track's pacing.
5:Concur Me Downward (featuring Alicia Keys)
Alicia Keys arrives with a gorgeous vocalisation. 10 is introspective but with a certain edge. Chorus is smooth and the backing vocals against Ten'south delivery with the pianoforte and hi-hat. The last minute sounds similar something the Weeknd would jump on. Best track so far.
6: Skyscrapers (featuring Bono)
Bono's intro makes me feel similar I'g on a skyscraper overlooking a decorated city at dark. Very wavy. 10'south slower delivery offers an insight into his insecurties:
"Stronger with the struggle, tin can't live without the pain."
Bono kind of makes me desire to go back in fourth dimension to see a U2 concert.

seven: Stick Upwardly Skit (featuring Cantankerous, Infrared and Icepick)
Party Up playing in the groundwork.
Oh dear, it's gone incorrect and "it's a stick upwardly."

Boy, that escalated quickly.
8: Hood Blues (featuring Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher & Conway The Motorcar)
Good verses from everybody but Benny the Butcher steals this track. Conway The Machine is solid as well. The slower tempo but once more helps the vocals.
"Sometimes I can't manage all the s*** in my head."
"I'm not fifty years onetime for nothing!"
nine: Have Command (featuring Snoop Dogg)
Sample leaves little to the imagination. Ten talks about not minding losing a girl because he's done with the girl's b*******. Snoop referring Nipsey Hussle is a lovely moment. RIP Nipsey.
"What y'all hate about me is what you love nigh me."
Speaks volumes this quote. X is nevertheless brutal in delivery and hilariously exposes the girl for supposedly haying him she'll still let him accept sex with her. Calls out the husband for not acting on his wife'south infidelity. Track speaks a lot on mod setup of bed hopping and adultery/adulterous culture.

ten: Walking In the Rain (featuring Nas, Exodus Simmons & Denaun)
I really tin imagine X walking in the rain thinking about his struggles with God, family, environs and the hood.

Nas' verse adds to X's introspective verse. Explores police brutality and the gun culture that has been built-in from this in cocky protection.

Love and hate from X at the outset of the runway, as he's talking to his son most how he's brought up his family, having other kids and drug utilise.
